Watercolour renders grains and mineral textures perfectly. Many multiple layers of spatter, masking fluids, salt reactions and soluble pencils give a very complex, abstract, rhythmical depth. I want to achieve different effects at different viewing distances to draw an audience backwards and forwards to question what they are viewing.
